The following settings effect what type of messages SoFurry will send a notification to external accounts when certain events occur. The first two settings set your SMS (Short Message Service) provider & number. Note: Settings with (Advanced Setting) after the name will only appear if you have Advanced Preferences turned on at the left.
- SMS Provider: Select your location and provider if you wish to use SMS. Note: If your provider is not listed, send a PM to MJTF and he may be able to add it.
- SMS Number: Please do not include a country code or any punctuation. This information is private and will not be shared with anyone.

- When someone shouts on my profile: (Email, SMS, Live Feed)
- When someone adds me to their watchlist: (Email, SMS, Live Feed)
- When someone sends me a friend request: (Email, SMS, Live Feed)
